The Genesis Children (1972)
The plot of the movie may seem a little intricate. One priest decided to gather a group of like-minded people to go with them to the Mediterranean. There he has plans to organize a game based on the Bible book of Genesis.
Seven boys respond to a newspaper ad urging him to “play a performance before God” - this is the beginning of an unprecedented teenage movie in contemporary American cinema. This is a mixture of images, beautiful music, almost completely devoid of the traditional plot.
One American film critic described the film as "a fabulous descent from civilization into chaos, reminiscent of" Lord of the Flies. "
